Reiki
What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a Japanese word meaning, Universal Life Force Energy. The Reiki healing system dates back over 2,500 years originating in Tibet and was re-discovered in the 1800's by Dr. Mikao Usui, after many years of study and research.
Reiki was brought to the West by Mrs Hawayo Takata in 1937 and is now the Reiki discipline most practiced in USA and Europe.
Reiki is a very natural and safe form of healing that benefits adults, children and animals as well as aiding orthodox and complementary therapies.
Reiki is not a religion or a faith healing system and can be taught to you in the comfort of your own home should you choose this option.
Karuna Reiki is an advanced healing technique taught to existing Reiki Masters and was evolved by William Lee Rand in the USA.
How does Reiki work?
The Universal Life Force Energy is channelled by a Reiki practitioner during the gentle placement of the hands, non-intrusively in a sequence of positions over the client's, or their own body. The treatment enhances the body's own natural ability to heal itself as it works on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels of the recipient; thereby treating the cause of the problems as well as the symptoms. A wonderful treatment to give and to receive promoting calmness and relaxation. Anyone at anytime can benefit from a Reiki treatment, not only when they are ill, as Reiki maintains good health as well as evoking relaxation and a sense of wellbeing.
A full treatment lasts approx. 1 to 1.5 hours with the recipient lying fully clothed on a treatment couch or sitting in a chair. The general health of a person will determine the number of treatments required.
Self healing can take place anywhere or anytime when the attuned practitioner places their hands on themselves.

Reiki I - First Degree Course (1 Day) £125.00
Everyone can heal, even children, however as we grow up our thoughts and emotions often stand in the way of our ability. During the training you will receive four attunements from a Reiki Master that will clear your own healing channels, thus empowering and enabling you to channel Reiki energy for life. You will learn the hand positions for healing treatments for yourself, others, plants and animals. Students will then give and receive Reiki treatments to each other using the hands on healing positions to allow them to experience the Life Force Energy for themselves. This training course gives an instruction manual, crystal for use in your healing applications, text book and certification on completion.
Reiki II - Second Degree Course (1 Day) £150.00
This advanced course is for those who have completed Reiki I training and have been using the energy regularly in their daily lives. It is also for those who would wish to become paid practitioners and to further their spiritual commitment to healing. After further attunements, students will be introduced to ancient sacred symbols to empower and enable them to effect distant and absent healing. Reiki II also enables the practitioner to help remove and heal mental and emotional blocks. This training also gives an instruction manual, text book and certification on completion of case histories.
Reiki III - Third Degree Master Practitioner Level (1 Day) £125.00
1 Day training for Reiki Second Level experienced practitioners who have been using Reiki exclusively or with other therapies.
This is for those who want to go on to achieve Master Practitioner status. It requires commitment and a lot of personal dedication to Reiki, humanity and spiritual development, both for self and others. You will be given the Advanced Reiki, Healing and Master attunements and the introduction to the sacred Usui Master symbol for use in your advanced Reiki applications. There will also be practical exercises in special breathing, healing and meditation techniques, as well as learning two ancient healing grids. This life changing experience gives an instruction manual and certification.
Reiki Master - Teacher (3 days) £450.00
Training to become a Reiki Master and Reiki Teacher for those who wish to teach this wonderful healing to others.
You will be given and shown all of the Usui and Tibetan symbols and learn the sacred breathing rituals that have passed through our ancient lineage to complete your Master initiation. You will be enable to perform attunements for all Reiki Levels up to and including Master - Teacher Level, and how to organise and run your own trainings.
This concluding workshop completes your amazing rise through the levels of training and attunements with Reiki. An instruction manual for all the trainings and attunements will be given and also a beautiful Reiki Master - Teacher Certificate on completion. You will have continued support throughout and after all trainings.
Anyone who is already attuned to any Reiki Level wishing to progress with Debi will have a chance to revisit their previous training and will be supplied with her manual and information.
